Pastor Kevin KoenigRaised in Auburn, Indiana, Pastor Koenig attended Concordia High School and Junior College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He then attended Concordia Senior College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He did his field work at Emmaus Lutheran Church, St. Louis Missouri, and vicared at Hope Lutheran Church in Whittier, California. He is a 1978 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Pastor Koenig has served St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lakeland, Florida, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Southaven, Mississippi, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sarasota, Florida, and Grace Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

In his thirty five years of ministry he has served as a Circuit Counselor in the Southern District and in the Florida/Georgia District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He has also served on the District Outreach Committee of the Florida/Georgia District.

Pastor Koenig has taken Clinical Pastoral Education courses, and is trained as a Stephen Leader in the Stephen Ministry Program. Along with other clergy, he worked to establish the Southaven Samaritan, an ecumenical social services agency. Other highlights of his career include two trips to the Holy Land, and a mission trip to Haiti.

He, and his wife Betty, have three grown married children and six grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, crafts, walking the beach, and reading.
