Lenten Theme: “The I AM’s of Jesus”

During Lent, we journey with Jesus toward the cross, reflecting on who He truly is and what His sacrifice means for our lives. In the Gospel of John, Jesus reveals Himself through a series of powerful “I AM” statements—echoing God’s divine name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14. These declarations uncover the heart of Christ’s identity, His mission, and His promise to meet our deepest spiritual needs.

As we walk through this Lenten season, each “I AM” invites us into deeper faith: Jesus is our sustenance, our guidance, our protector, our source of life, our Savior, and our hope beyond death. Through Scripture, prayer, worship, and reflection, we will encounter Jesus anew—not only as teacher and miracle worker, but as the living Lord who sustains, leads, restores, and redeems.

This journey calls us to repentance, renewal, trust, and worship as we prepare our hearts for the hope and victory of Easter.

Wednesday Service Series Theme: Christ’s Passion

As we gather during this holy season of Lent, we come with hearts humbled by the weight of Christ’s Passion and lifted by the depth of His love. We walk with Jesus on the road that leads to the cross, remembering His suffering, His sacrifice, and His obedience to the Father’s will. In word and song, prayer and silence, draw us again to the foot of the cross, where sin is confessed, grace is given, and forgiveness is won. Shape us through repentance, strengthen us through mercy, and renew us through the promise of life that comes through His death and resurrection. Amen.
