MLC Visiting Scholar Program

The Visiting Scholar Program’s purpose is to bring visiting scholars to MLC who have knowledge of the world and the direction the political environment is headed, along with their personal unique gifts and perspectives, as well as a spiritual emphasis.
Overall, We are seeking to learn more about how Christian communities and individuals live cope and react to the challenges that all face as well as to understand our own situation and find ways to respond
Objectives of the Visiting Scholar program are as follows:
- To understand the world view and how the future might be impacted by current political circumstances and spiritual unrest.
- To learn about the importance of transmission of the Christian faith to future generations.
- To explore how we might influence the future direction of our government.
- To explore what we might do on an individual level to ensure the continuation of Christian ways of life.
